There are many of us who hold close to some pet cause—be it a disease in need of a cure, an endangered species in need of saving, or simply a social issue in need of greater awareness and public dialogue. For Bruce Tulio, however, matters are a little different. This is a man for whom there is no one issue, but rather a host of worthy causes to which he has lent not only his name but also his time and his talents. Bruce Tulio is an in-demand fundraiser and an activist whose work on various projects has won him considerable notice.
And indeed, it’s hard to pinpoint one single issue about which this man is passionate. There are several different causes we could mention. With that said, there are what we might call recurring themes, chief among them a zeal for education and a delight in the preservation of historic buildings.
But what are some of the specific causes with which Bruce Tulio has been involved? Here is just a partial list:
- He served as Co-chair for new a sciences and language building at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy, a private school in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania.
- Bruce Tulio also served as Chairman of the Annual Fund for structural improvements at St. Basil’s Academy in Fox Chase, Pennsylvania.
- He conducted fundraising on behalf of the new building construction fund for Mt. St. Joseph’s Academy in Flourtown, Pennsylvania, as well as the new building construction fund for LaSalle College High School in Wyndmoor.
- He is a Diamond Club contributor for new facilities at Gynedd Mercy Academy in Springfield, PA.
- He has served in the role of Co-Chairman of the American National Fundraising Association for the Fire Damage Restoration of Windsor Castle. For his service, Queen Elizabeth herself sent him a personal letter of thanks!
And of course, all of this is on top of his efforts in coaching various youth athletic teams, something that reminds us both of this man’s own love of sport and of his commitment to education and kids’ development. In short, Bruce Tulio is a man who has more than earned his leisure time, as well as the respect and esteem that are so often given him!
